About Ready-2-Sit

READY-2-SIT started with a simple problem: I was looking for a couch for my own family. Like many people, I was shocked by the prices at furniture stores, where even a basic sectional could cost thousands of dollars. At the same time, I was hesitant to buy used furniture because I wasn't sure what I was getting. That experience inspired me to create a business that offers clean, affordable, quality furniture that people can feel good about bringing into their homes.

Today, READY-2-SIT is proudly a one-woman business. From finding furniture and carefully cleaning, repairing, and refreshing each piece to photographing, listing, delivering, and helping customers, I personally handle every step of the process. While it's a lot of work, it also allows me to keep overhead low and pass those savings on to my customers.

Buying quality used furniture isn't just good for your wallet—it's good for the environment too. Every piece that finds a new home is one less item headed to a landfill and one less new piece that has to be manufactured. Giving furniture a second life is one small way we can all reduce waste while still creating beautiful homes.

I've had the privilege of helping many different people furnish their spaces. Whether you're a VCU student moving into your first apartment, a family looking to stretch a budget, someone relocating to Richmond, a newly divorced parent starting over, or anyone creating a home on a budget, my goal is to help you find furniture you'll love without paying new furniture prices.

Before spending thousands on brand-new furniture, I invite you to see what READY-2-SIT has to offer. You may be surprised by the quality, selection, and savings waiting for you. My mission is simple: to help people create comfortable, welcoming homes while saving money and giving great furniture a second chance.
